Machine Gun Course – 18-20 OCT North Carolina

Course is taught by my friend and former 0331 with myself as an assistant instructor.

Class will learn about the safe operation of M249, M240 and M2 machine guns. Each student will learn nomenclature and how to assemble and disassemble each weapon system. Each student will qualify on each weapon system and lean basic machine gun tactics, theory and machine gunnery. Ammo is provided for each student.

Gear you will need:

• Hearing protection inner ear foamies and outer ear muffs. You will want double ears and hearing pro is a must.
• Eye Pro is a must
• Helmet if you have one ( I would Borrow if you don’t have one )
• Body Armor if you have it ( I would Borrow if you don’t have one)
• Water because you will get thirsty.
• Food – you will get hungry, Snacks and meals
• Poncho
• Note Pad and Pen 
• Comfortable Clothes
• Disposable gloves-  We will disassemble and clean and fire LMG 249, MMG 249 and HMG M2HB.
• Knee pads – we will be picking up brass and links
• You can camp on site if need be
• E-tool to dig in / emplace tri pods
