This course provides comprehensive preparation for the High‑Pressure Plant Tender (HPPT) exam, the first step toward meeting the five‑year experience requirement to qualify for the NYC Stationary Engineer License examination. Instruction covers the full scope of responsibilities associated with the HPPT title, including assisting Stationary Engineers in the operation of high‑pressure boiler plants. Course content includes hands‑on and technical knowledge of boilers, chillers, cooling towers, air handlers, pumps, motors, and air distribution systems, as well as routine maintenance tasks such as filter changes and servicing smaller HVAC package units. All topics are reinforced with exam‑focused instruction to ensure candidates are technically prepared and confident on test day.

Tuition is $600. Study material will be provided as part of the course.

Classes will begin in July 2026.  Filing for this exam is scheduled for May 2026.
