Course Description: 

The Brushbeater Drone ISR Course is a three day course instructing the fundamentals of drone implementation in a small unit tactics environment. Course covers: 

• Drone Selection and Awareness
• Basic Flight Operation
• Intelligence reporting fundamentals 
• Implementation of Drones in the Small Unit
• Conducting Area, Zone and Route Recon with Drones Day and Night 
• Drone avoidance, evasion, and countermeasures

While there is no prerequisite for the course, it is strongly encouraged that students have taken at least the Scout Course to be familiar with small unit fundamentals.

• Suitable clothes for the training environment
• Water
• Personal Load Carrying Equipment (optional)
• AR-15 w/A2 Flash Hider (optional but strongly encouraged)
• Thermal Tarp
• Headlamp or red lens flashlight 
• Night Vision Device (optional)
• Thermal Optic (optional)
