The Sapoa Knife is a collaboration between Brushbeater and Kyle Tepfer of Tepfer Armory blades. It gets its namesake and its design inspiration from the original Warrior Knife by martial arts legend Mike Echanis, who was killed in action fighting the communist Sandinistas near the Sapoa river in Nicaragua.
Kyle is a longtime bladesmith under Daniel Winkler.
Made of 80crV2 steel, hand forged tip to tail at Kyle’s shop in Mountain City TN. Blade measures 13in overall length and a 7.5in cutting edge. The grip is sculpted micarta and features a glass breaker pommell with a custom made kydex sheath.
